Chris Dring has today announced ‘The Game Business Marketing Awards’, a new awards program that sets out to celebrate the very best of video game PR and marketing teams.

Shared today by owner Christopher Dring, ‘The Game Business Marketing Awards‘ plans to “highlight the best, most impactful and inventive video game marketing campaigns of 2026.“

There’s a lot that goes into making a video game, and in an increasingly competitive market, it’s no surprise that something like this has been setup. There’s some remarkably creative efforts that go into advertising games of all shapes and sizes, and getting eyes on a singular title above others is certainly no easy task. According to Chris, they’re “looking for campaigns that are coherent and delivered effective cut-through and ROI.“

If you’re in marketing or PR for video games and want to submit your work on a release, just head here. Of note, the campaign you wish to nominate needs to be for a video game, expansion or new season and so on, released in 2026. The winner is selected by a panel at The Game Business, and winners will be revealed on Thursday, December 10th, 2026.

Chris does note that this date coincides with The Game Awards itself, so it certainly feels like awards season!
