Fortnite has confirmed a collaboration with rapper ASAP Rocky, stylized A$SAP Rocky, ahead of the upcoming One Piece Mini-Season. This partnership will include the usual cosmetics, Jam Tracks, and perhaps more, as is standard in the Icon Series.

Here’s everything we learned from the teaser trailer and what we expect.

• This collaboration will take place during the rumored One Piece Mini-Season.
• It will likely include two skins and several Jam Tracks.

ASAP Rocky Fortnite collab confirmed in Mini-Season 3 trailer

Fortnite first teased this partnership in-game at the One Piece chest location. Players could hear the rapper’s song “RIOT” shortly before he shared the teaser trailer on his Instagram story.

The trailer then circulated throughout social media, showcasing the first official look at the ASAP Rocky Fortnite skin alongside a few other new anime skins. While it’s not much, the image gives us an idea of what the ASAP Rocky skin will look like when it launches.

What to expect in this crossover

Based on past Icon Series collaborations, we expect two skins and various other cosmetics involved in this crossover. All recent Icon Series collaborations have followed a similar format: one skin bearing the celebrity’s likeness, another that’s more creative, Jam Tracks for Fortnite Festival, and various other cosmetics.

There’s no reason to believe the ASAP Rocky Fortnite collaboration will be any different. However, since it will take place in a brand-new season, it’s worth wondering whether he could be part of the Mini-Season’s Battle Pass.

That wouldn’t necessarily fit the One Piece aesthetic, but perhaps one of the rapper’s skins could have an anime look. We won’t know for sure until we are closer to the new season, which launches on Nov. 1.

When is ASAP Rocky coming to Fortnite?

We anticipate the ASAP Rocky collaboration to drop either on Nov. 1 or shortly after the launch of Mini-Season 3. The timing of this teaser is interesting, but it likely played out this way to help promote the rapper’s new song “SWAT TEAM.”

Either way, ASAP Rocky figures to join the likes of YEAT, Lil Wayne, Lil Tecca, and many other rappers not long after Mini-Season 3 begins!
